MISSION STATEMENT: The Door County Master Gardeners Association, Inc., in partnership with UW-Extension, shall strive to make a positive impact on horticulture in our community through education, community outreach and stewardship of our environment.
The Door County Master Gardeners Association was founded in 1995. Since then, it has grown to a 100+ member organization that provides horticulture-related services to the community. Master Gardener Volunteers maintain The Garden Door, sponsor free educational programs, provide answers to residents' horticulture questions and provide outreach to youth and not-for-profit organizations throughout the county. Each year, DCMGA sponsors two major events: the Plant Sale in May, and The Garden Door Open House in July.
The Door County Master Gardeners are governed by a nine member Board of Directors. Board members are elected to staggered two-year terms at each year's Annual Meeting in October. Directors are limited to three consecutive two-year terms. Board members select officers from the selected Directors at the November Board Meeting. The Board meets on the third Wednesday of odd numbered months to conduct the business of the organization. Currently, the Board consists of the following members.

- Holly Green, Secretary
