About the event
If you dream about harvesting fresh, flavorful vegetables from your backyard, but don’t know how to begin on a budget, this presentation is for you. Stacia Dick-Schuster, alumni Master Gardener, is giving a presentation on how to economize and grow your own food. Beyond saving money there are many benefits to a homegrown vegetable garden including superior taste and nutrition, increased exercise, and reduced stress levels while spending time in nature. The event will feature door prizes and handouts for reference at home.
