It might be winter, with gardens buried in snow, but it's not too early to start thinking about the upcoming gardening season. The Door County Master Gardeners are here to get your garden planning jump started. We are pleased to again offer a series of gardening-related programs throughout the winter and spring. Whether you're interested in finding out what's new in plants this year, or would like too know what you can do to attract bids to your yard, along with many other interesting topics, we have a program that can provide the answers. Tuesday in The Garden Door
Tuesday in The Garden Door is a free series of short programs provided in The Garden Door located on the grounds of the Peninsular Agricultural Research Station, 4312 N. Highway 42, Sturgeon Bay. Two to three short programs will be offered once a month on the second Tuesday of the month, starting in June. The following programs are currently scheduled. Watch this site for updates as more information becomes available.
- Come early for a guided tour of The Garden Door, beginning a half-hour before the evening's programs.

Join us for the final Tuesday in The Garden Door for 2019. Below are the programs we plan to offer this month. Note that due to earlier sunsets, this month's program will begin at 6:00 pm.

Important Information for Those Attending Tuesday in The Garden Door Programs
- These programs are held in The Garden Door located on the grounds of the University of Wisconsin Peninsular Agricultural Research Station at 4312 North Highway 42, Sturgeon Bay.
- They will occur rain or shine. If it's raining, the programs will occur in the classroom on the research station grounds.
- Participants are encouraged to bring their own chairs and to dress for the weather.
- The programs are offered outdoors in The Garden Door. The Garden Door has paved paths but the programs might involve some walking on uneven surfaces.
Things to know before you attend this year's Plant Sale
- The sale will happen rain or shine.
- It's suggested you arrive early, but no pre-sales prior to the start times will be allowed. The sale will begin promptly at 5:00 pm on Friday and 8:00 am on Saturday.
- Cash, checks and credit cards will be accepted.
- The sale occurs outdoors over paved and grassy areas. Terrain can be uneven. Parking is provided but does involve a walk from the parking area to the sale area.
- Pets are not allowed on the Research Station grounds or at the Plant Sale. We ask that you leave your pets at home.
